Inspiracy Arts Inc. Receives 501(c)3 tax-exempt status from IRS
Posted on Oct.26, 2011, under News
After piles of paperwork and many board meetings centering around subjects such as intellectual property and conflict of
interest policies, Inspiracy Arts Inc. has finally achieved recognition from the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit 501(c)3
tax-exempt organization. This means we can seek grants and accept tax-deductible donations to further our cause. That cause is creating new works of performance and media art. In the the past, we worked under the umbrella of another arts organization known as Rio Arts. Inspiracy Arts is excited to take this next step in becoming an independent organization.
The Future
Networking with other arts groups will continue to be an important part of our success. Currently we are searching for a more
concrete home base to use as a launching pad for future projects. Ideally this home-base would serve as both office and rehearsal space. To achieve this we are planning several fundraisers. Our vision is to present new performance art locally, nationally, and eventually internationally.
